Additional language courses

If you have been awarded an official exemption based on the registered certificate or you have passed our early B2 exam (after the first semester of the course) you may choose to undertake an additional course in English, French, Spanish, German or Russian at any level from A1 to C1. After completing the additional language course, you will be entitled to sit an exam ( a single attempt) in the language and at the level studied during the course. If you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate of competence in a foreign language at the level of the exam, issued by SJO. You may enrol on the additional language course until your 6th semester of study (inclusive). All issues relating to free additional language courses are governed by AGH Senate Resolution no. 57/2019 of 24 April 2019 (Uchwała Nr 57/2019 Senatu AGH z dnia 24 kwietnia 2019 r. w sprawie zasad nauki języków obcych w Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej im. Stanisława Staszica w Krakowie).
