Strategy and policies

Our Methods of Teaching and Objectives:

• We offer our students modern and attractive language training and lay emphasis on honing their soft skills, so indispensable nowadays, both in the work environment and in academia
• Our students are encouraged to develop their linguistic competence and improve their key social competences, including team work, cooperation in generating new ideas, critical thinking, delivering presentations, seeking and managing information, as well as cross-cultural awareness
• Our approach to teaching foreign languages consists in combining various effective methods and is focused on meeting students’ individual needs
• As we deliver student-centred instruction, we adjust our teaching techniques to students’ and groups’ requirements, repeatedly clarifying our objectives and expected teaching outcomes; we also provide regular feedback on the learners’ progress
• Fostering a friendly atmosphere and incorporating diversified tasks and activities into our well-paced classes, we get our students involved in the learning process
• We contribute to the AGH UST community by offering language courses, training sessions and translation services
• Thanks to our modern well-equipped classrooms and facilities we can ensure high-quality instruction
• We constantly undertake numerous initiatives which are aimed at raising teaching standards and support our employees’ personal and professional development; we also encourage them to upgrade their professional skills by self-study and the participation in training sessions and academic conferences
• We promote innovation and creativity as well as recommend using modern teaching methods and technology tools in class.
